The Clean Beaches Committee of Santa María Huatulco was established in 2003, whose purpose has been to always dedicate itself to the well-being of our beaches, making Huatulco a sustainable destination recognized by world-class certifications.

The Clean Beaches Committee works to conserve the environment; Together with the community and local companies, they make Huatulco a sustainable destination, being recognized worldwide by various certifications.

CLEAN BEACHES COMMITTEE
The main objective of the Clean Beaches Committee is to promote the sanitation of the beaches and the basins, sub-basins, ravines, aquifers and receiving bodies of water associated with it; as well as to prevent and correct pollution to protect and preserve Mexican beaches, respecting natural resources, raising the quality, the standard of living of the local population and the tourist competitiveness of the beaches. The clean beaches program is part of the CONAGUA federal program. Every three years, with the changes of municipal presidents, the clean beach committees are renewed, under the call that the ORGANISM OF THE SOUTH PACIFIC BASIN OF THE NATIONAL WATER COMMISSION
